MOUNT UNION MEN
The records: Mount Union is 13-1 overall and 6-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, and ranked No. 3 nationally by D3hoops.com following a 73-71 win over Marietta on Wednesday. Otterbein (9-5, 3-4) lost to John Carroll 89-68 on Wednesday.
The coaches: Mike Fuline is 207-96 in his 12th season at Mount Union. Andy Winters is 36-38 in his fourth season at Otterbein and 48-52 overall in five seasons.
Projected starters: Mount Union: 6-3 Sr. Collen Gurley (14.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists per game); 6-6 Jr. Christian Parker (18.9, 7.6, 1.1); 6-5 Gr. Braedon Poole (6.8, 5.0, 0.7); 6-3 Gr. Sr. Darrell Newsom (10.2, 2.3, 0.9) and 6-0 Sr. Chris Painter Jr. (6.6, 2.3, 2.5).
Otterbein: 6-0 Jr. Cam Evans (20.3 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.9 apg); 6-6 Soph. Alex Hannah (11.6, 6.5, 1.2); 6-0 Fr. Julian Heckman (9.6, 3.5, 2.6); 6-2 Sr. Dallas Patrick (11.4, 6.4, 1.2); 6-4 Soph. MJ Davis (3.4, 2.5, 1.1).
Notes: Mount Union leads Division III with 6.5 blocked shots per game and had nine against Marietta. Parker had seven himself while playing with a broken nose he suffered in the first half, which established a new school record. … Otterbein averages 25.2 3-point attempts per game and is shooting .340 from long range. … Evans of Otterbein and Parker are 1-2 in the OAC in scoring.

The records: Mount Union is 5-9, 2-5 in the OAC after losing to Marietta 61-42 on Wednesday. Otterbein (8-6, 4-3) defeated John Carroll 62-48 on Wednesday.
The coaches: Suzy Venet is 280-181 in her 18th season at Mount Union, and 291-197 overall. Diana Noles is 46-32 in four seasons at Otterbein.
Projected starters: Mount Union: 5-3 Soph. Dae Dae Nash (7.8 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, 1.9 assists per game); 5-8 Sr. Gretchen Koken (10.2, 6.9, 1.1); 5-10 Fr. Audrey Livesay (4.6, 2.4, 0-5); 5-6 Soph. Ali Hudik (9.6, 2.9, 2.0), and 5-7 Sr. Emma Cannon (9.8, 4.4, 0.9).
